I consider any type of evolution other than regular leveling to be creative, especially so at the moment due to the new species still being somewhat untested when it comes to evolution in general.
I honestly don't know why I didn't test the Shiny Stone earlier either, considering my Roselia also evolved with one. It seems to be either Shiny Stones or Sun Stones with flower-based Pokemon.

Strangely enough, no! Gardenia is at her final stage and has a wide variety of Grass-type moves and yet she remains a pure Fairy type. It's strange, I've never seen this with a flower-based Pokemon.
