[public video]

[It's been a while since Dist last appeared on the network with a post! Well, if you're an everyday PokeWorld citizen anyway. Rockets may recall things differently.

Though the location he's in appears to be nondescript for the most part, there is quite a number of flower bouquets present on the desk that he's recording from. Roses, lilies, tulips, daisies, chrysanthemums...all different species are carefully cut and placed into vases. ...Some of those flowers even appear to be moving! A tiny, sparkling fairy Pokemon upon a magenta-colored flower is floating about the bouquets, and another fairy Pokemon resembling a flower, though about the size of the bouquets themselves, is also present.

Dist gently tilts the 'Gear toward himself so he can begin. He's actually dressed pretty casually tonight with a plain pink dress shirt and a black tie, which is incredible on its own especially since he's presenting himself to the network. ...Still fancy as heck, though.]

Good evening! Quite a lovely spread, isn't it? The flower shop at the Celadon Conservatory never fails to deliver, even in the midst of winter.

But the flowers aren't the main subject of my post today.

[He beckons to the flower Pokemon off-screen, and they quickly join him, peering at the 'Gear curiously.]

I am curious- Since we've had them for a good few months by now, has anyone attempted evolving their Kalosian Pokemon through more creative means? [He motions to the larger of the two flower Pokemon.] For example, Gardenia here is the result of presenting a Shiny Stone to a Floette. I happened to discover this by chance a few weeks ago when she got into my bag and grabbed the stone, causing herself to evolve in the process. Not that I mind that mistake- she is incredibly beautiful.

[He gives the Florges a gentle pat on the head for emphasis, putting her previous embarrassment at ease.]

This topic has always piqued my curiosity, so I would very much like to hear about more special evolutions involving the newest Pokemon to grace us with their presence. Thank you for your time!

[The two flower fairies wave cheerfully as Dist moves in to turn the feed off.]

[Rocket text]

[Shortly after Dist's video goes live, he adds a quick text for his fellow Rockets!]

I am currently in the process of reviewing the data collected on my experimental Pokemon during our raid earlier this month. I would again like to thank those of you who chose to use one of my experiments during the raid, as it helps me work out the kinks and perfect my (practically already perfect) projects.

If you have any special comments you would like to make about your experience with the experiments, do not hesitate to respond. Alternatively, anyone is welcome to express interest for participation in future trial runs. Though be warned, I am rather picky about who I choose, so you had best be competent!

[ While flowers don't exactly bring up bright and sunny memories for Naminé, this guy... well, he doesn't seem too bad. And his Pokémon are pretty beautiful. But appearances can be pretty deceiving. While there's some hesitation there--especially obvious in her expression--she answers with a fairly soft, ]

Ah... she is beautiful.

[ Seems like there's a huge range of different types, just like Riku's guide had described. ]

I had no idea about this until recently, but some Pokemon are only able to evolve during the daytime and nighttime! I kept going out to train Daenerys, my Tyrunt, during the evening, but for some reason, she didn't want to evolve until I took her out during the day! And then, just like that, she evolved!

Man...what's with all the flowers?

[It's nice that you've found some of your own kind to hang out with, Dist, but really...]

enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

Ah, so that's what you do with them, then...? Shiny Stones aren't that strange compared to some evolutionary methods, but it's nice to know they have even more variety than they previously did.

...do they ever become properly Grass type, actually?
red_roses: (Go that way!//shock//surprise)

[Gasp!] S-So beautiful! What Pokemon are they now?

[Raikov's probably one of the few people that isn't even phased by Dist's attire. It certainly is noticable though.]

Can't say I've tried evolving my Spritzee... or even knew they had an evolved form.

[Once he looks it up, he'll... probably opt for keeping his as a baby.]

... I wonder if the fairy-types have a corresponding stone like the other elemental types do.

Oh, is that how that works? My Eevee's been ready to evolve for some time now, but I don't really want her to feel pressured in terms of, like, what kind of evolution it becomes...

[Seriously, her Eevee is ridiculously overleveled.]

It evolved into Tyrantrum! Look, this is what she looks like! Come here, sweetie!

[She happily beckons her Tyrantrum over, which comes charging at her, desperate for affection...]

O-oh, come now, Daenerys, you're acting like I didn't just cuddle with you for the past half hour...

[ Don't worry, she's plenty wary. But the Pokémon just look so nice. Conflicting emotions are a pain sometimes. Regardless, Naminé returns the wave. Meanwhile, her Minccino is peering into the screen from her perch on Naminé's shoulder. ]

Oh... she's cute... and she has such a nice name.

It's me. So what?

[He gets bored sometimes, and annoying Dist is quickly becoming something interesting to do when he's a safe distance away.]

Good enough reason. You don't have to have one, I was just wondering.
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

Ah, I suppose that's true. I've been more intrigued by completely new evolution methods, myself --- did you see that nonsense with Inkay's evolution? I'm really rather curious if there's anything else that bizarre.

And ah... that is true. Leaf Stones get some use, but they seem to have less to do with flowers than the other two. I think I'm most curious about Dawn Stones, though... there's something a bit unsettling about those.

And really? That's just bizarre. I suppose I could understand with Flabebe and Floette, since they seem to have the flower as an accessory rather than an actual part of them, but the final stage seems to have actually integrated with its flower.
red_roses: (Eh???//No way!)

I-I'm sorry!

B-But they're very beautiful! I think all fairy types are, actually....

If I'm being totally honest, I still don't think she's realized just yet how big she's gotten...she still thinks that she can chew on my braids with no trouble, after all! And she's just as restless as ever! But she's kind of like an oversized puppy, really. She may look really big, but she's just a huge sweetheart!
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

Yes, there was. Apparently it involves some sort of bottle that you have to stick them in and shake? Which sounds absolutely absurd, but apparently it's true.

That was the one I had in mind, but... eugh, no, it's not, is it? And... yes. Really, I'm glad I heard about that particular peculiarity of Froslass's evolution method before I stumbled upon it myself, as it would've been a bit... unsettling otherwise.

[...not that he'd be too torn up about it, but it's still kind of messed up.]

And that's good to know, really. I suppose it's convenient not to have the weakness to Ice and to have the full resistance to Fire, so it's not too much of an issue.

I do - and they are. I wouldn't mind if Spritzee didn't have any evolutions.

But if not a Shiny Stone, perhaps a Moon Stone? Since those are used on Clefairy and... that's pretty fairy-type.

Is that a bad thing? [ Confidence isn't a bad thing, she thinks, but it's hard for her to come by. Well, he doesn't seem to mind too much... ]

Flabébé? I might... [ There's just so many different types, from what she can tell. She's not sure she could decide which ones to raise. Especially if they're all this cute. ]
