[public video]
[It's been a while since Dist last appeared on the network with a post! Well, if you're an everyday PokeWorld citizen anyway. Rockets may recall things differently.
Though the location he's in appears to be nondescript for the most part, there is quite a number of flower bouquets present on the desk that he's recording from. Roses, lilies, tulips, daisies, chrysanthemums...all different species are carefully cut and placed into vases. ...Some of those flowers even appear to be moving! A tiny, sparkling fairy Pokemon upon a magenta-colored flower is floating about the bouquets, and another fairy Pokemon resembling a flower, though about the size of the bouquets themselves, is also present.
Dist gently tilts the 'Gear toward himself so he can begin. He's actually dressed pretty casually tonight with a plain pink dress shirt and a black tie, which is incredible on its own especially since he's presenting himself to the network. ...Still fancy as heck, though.]
Good evening! Quite a lovely spread, isn't it? The flower shop at the Celadon Conservatory never fails to deliver, even in the midst of winter.
But the flowers aren't the main subject of my post today.
[He beckons to the flower Pokemon off-screen, and they quickly join him, peering at the 'Gear curiously.]
I am curious- Since we've had them for a good few months by now, has anyone attempted evolving their Kalosian Pokemon through more creative means? [He motions to the larger of the two flower Pokemon.] For example, Gardenia here is the result of presenting a Shiny Stone to a Floette. I happened to discover this by chance a few weeks ago when she got into my bag and grabbed the stone, causing herself to evolve in the process. Not that I mind that mistake- she is incredibly beautiful.
[He gives the Florges a gentle pat on the head for emphasis, putting her previous embarrassment at ease.]
This topic has always piqued my curiosity, so I would very much like to hear about more special evolutions involving the newest Pokemon to grace us with their presence. Thank you for your time!
[The two flower fairies wave cheerfully as Dist moves in to turn the feed off.]

[Shortly after Dist's video goes live, he adds a quick text for his fellow Rockets!]
I am currently in the process of reviewing the data collected on my experimental Pokemon during our raid earlier this month. I would again like to thank those of you who chose to use one of my experiments during the raid, as it helps me work out the kinks and perfect my (practically already perfect) projects.
If you have any special comments you would like to make about your experience with the experiments, do not hesitate to respond. Alternatively, anyone is welcome to express interest for participation in future trial runs. Though be warned, I am rather picky about who I choose, so you had best be competent!

video;
Ah... she is beautiful.
[ Seems like there's a huge range of different types, just like Riku's guide had described. ]
video;
Thankfully he's being rather harmless right now though!]
Isn't she? I'm quite fond of this entire evolutionary line. Sylph here is the earliest stage in the line.
[The tiny sparkling fairy Pokemon waves when she's mentioned. Gardenia meanwhile is blushing at Naminé's compliment.]

Oh... she's cute... and she has such a nice name.

[Not that he minds. There's nothing wrong with a healthy ego in his mind. Plus, he really does enjoy seeing how excited and bashful his two fairies are getting over these compliments.]
Are you considering getting one of your own now? The first stage is called Flabébé, in case you didn't know.

[Tyrunt though...that's the little dinosaur, right?]
What did your Tyrunt end up becoming when she evolved?
no subject
[Seriously, her Eevee is ridiculously overleveled.]
It evolved into Tyrantrum! Look, this is what she looks like! Come here, sweetie!
[She happily beckons her Tyrantrum over, which comes charging at her, desperate for affection...]
O-oh, come now, Daenerys, you're acting like I didn't just cuddle with you for the past half hour...
no subject
[His train of thought comes to a halt at the entire scene with Anna's Tyrantrum though. That...sure is one affectionate giant dinosaur.]
That...is quite the change. I take it she must have had a lot of adjusting to do after suddenly becoming that large?

[It's nice that you've found some of your own kind to hang out with, Dist, but really...]

[He's actually kind of surprised Luke even bothered to respond...not that his actual comment does anything but annoy Dist.]
Must there be a reason? I'm fond of flowers, so I like to keep them around- especially during the winter when they aren't present outdoors.
no subject
[He gets bored sometimes, and annoying Dist is quickly becoming something interesting to do when he's a safe distance away.]
Good enough reason. You don't have to have one, I was just wondering.
no subject
Well, now you have your answer. I'm not sorry if it wasn't the most exciting explanation. Besides, you could have assumed that just from watching the video.

...do they ever become properly Grass type, actually?
[video]
I honestly don't know why I didn't test the Shiny Stone earlier either, considering my Roselia also evolved with one. It seems to be either Shiny Stones or Sun Stones with flower-based Pokemon.
[To Kayneth's other question, he shakes his head with a bit of disbelief in his expression.]
Strangely enough, no! Gardenia is at her final stage and has a wide variety of Grass-type moves and yet she remains a pure Fairy type. It's strange, I've never seen this with a flower-based Pokemon.
[video]
And ah... that is true. Leaf Stones get some use, but they seem to have less to do with flowers than the other two. I think I'm most curious about Dawn Stones, though... there's something a bit unsettling about those.
And really? That's just bizarre. I suppose I could understand with Flabebe and Floette, since they seem to have the flower as an accessory rather than an actual part of them, but the final stage seems to have actually integrated with its flower.
[video]
[He really needs to do a better job of actually...watching the network...]
The best example for Leaf Stones and flower-based Pokemon that I can think of is Gloom evolving into Vileplume. However, Vileplume isn't based on the most charming of flowers... [Rafflesia why.] And oh yes, Dawn Stones really are something, aren't they? I assume you have Froslass in mind specifically?
[As for the Florges thing, all he can really do is offer a shrug.]
She is indeed a fully-fledged flower herself, and she's still just a Fairy. I don't quite understand it myself, but she functions well enough without the formal typing. Her Grass and Fairy-type moves mesh well together.

[He holds one hand up toward the smaller flower Fairy.]
This is Sylph, a Flabébé.
[Next, the other hand comes up toward the larger Fairy.]
And this is Gardenia, a Florges. They are both from the same evolutionary line and are pure Fairy types.
They're just beautiful all around. Appearance, grace, battling capabilities...everyone should have one on their team, to be completely honest.

B-But they're very beautiful! I think all fairy types are, actually....

video;
Can't say I've tried evolving my Spritzee... or even knew they had an evolved form.
[Once he looks it up, he'll... probably opt for keeping his as a baby.]
... I wonder if the fairy-types have a corresponding stone like the other elemental types do.
video;
...Right.]
Ah, you have a Spritzee as well? Lovely little things, aren't they? And they always smell so delightful! Since Gardenia evolved, I've tried a few options on Serenity, but nothing I've tried so far has induced evolution.
[Raikov's suggestion gives him pause though.]
That's actually a rather good idea, Raikov. Unfortunately, a Shiny Stone did not work on Serenity. Perhaps it may apply to other Fairy types though, since Spritzee may simply not evolve at all!
video;
But if not a Shiny Stone, perhaps a Moon Stone? Since those are used on Clefairy and... that's pretty fairy-type.

[He turns the video so Dist can see the Doublade, freshly polished and looking rather pleased with himself.]
I've heard that there's... another evolution, but... well. I'm not... really sure how it would work. He's leveled up quite a bit now.
[Video]
[It's always interesting to see Pokemon like this. He's trained some Magnetons and Klinks, and they all act differently.]
As for its evolution...do you have a vague idea of what level he may be? If he's past 50, I'd say that his evolution is going to require some creativity. A stone perhaps, or trading. The possibilities aren't limited to those, but they're the most common.
[Video]
I... believe he is. Evolutionary stones aren't something I have... experience with. My travel partner does, but... only with Fire stones and that doesn't seem likely with him. I've seen a trade evolution once in my Pokemon... but not since. I've... tried that with him, so I guess... a stone is the only option. I'm... at a loss as to which it might be, though.
