[Dist knows he'd be better off just avoiding Rideaux after everything that happened at the trial today, but apparently tonight he's just petty enough to hound him in the clergy housing hallway after the afterparty wrapped up.]

Was all of that absolute nonsense in the name of "thoroughness" worth it to you?

[ Rideaux can definitely hear Dist outside the bar, and he is in absolutely no hurry to let him in. He's by no means the last person he wants to see right now, but frankly, he isn't very high on the list either. He's immediately reminded of the conversation they'd had when Dist had confronted him after the second trial, and viewing it now through today's lens, his still hotly simmering anger is a little closer to boiling again.

He sits back and takes a long drink.

If Dist really wants in that badly, he's going to have to beg a lot harder than that. ]

week 5 | thursday

[Rather than hitting up Rideaux's room at clergy housing, Dist just heads on over to the jazz bar where he suspects he might find him instead. It's an evening, so he's probably not wrong with his hunch.

He is dressed plain again today- something he would prefer Rideaux not see, but he's planning to go back to the autoshop after this and doesn't feel like changing for one interaction. But at least his makeup is on point.]
